Senior executives of South Korean companies in eastern China's Zhejiang province gathered in Quzhou city on Thursday to learn about the city's investment environment and exchange on trade.
During the two-day event, the Quzhou International Chamber of Commerce reached cooperation intents with the China-South Korea Chamber of Commerce in Zhejiang's Hangzhou and Yiwu cities.
At the event, Kim Seung-ho, consul-general of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai, expressed his appreciation to Zhejiang and Quzhou governments for valuing the development of South Korean companies locally and giving them valuable help. He spoke highly of Zhejiang's achievements in various sectors such as e-commerce, artificial intelligence, and automobile, and gave praise to fruitful results from economic cooperation between South Korea and Zhejiang.
As trade cooperation between Zhejiang and South Korea has gone deeper in recent years, the China-South Korea industrial cooperation park in Quzhou is now home to 11 South Korean companies.
Kim said he looks forward to seeing further progress in and more outcomes from the exchanges and cooperation between South Korea and Zhejiang, and between South Korea and Quzhou in the future.
