A documentary about the history of China's Xinjiang region started broadcasting on Monday. It showcases an array of significant archaeological findings as a testimony that Xinjiang is part of China, according to a press conference in Beijing.
The film features more than 200 cultural relics and documents related to Xinjiang, and over 90 historical sites and buildings were shot for the production of the eight-episode documentary. It is titled "China's Xinjiang Unforgettable History," said the producer.
Some precious relics, including the latest archaeological discoveries in Yuli County of Xinjiang in 2019, will make their on-screen debut.
