​The 22nd China Beijing International High-tech Expo opened in Beijing on Thursday and will run through Sunday. Over 20 delegations and 1,200 enterprises from 19 countries and regions have participated in the four-day expo.

The 22nd China Beijing International High-tech Expo opened in Beijing on Thursday and will run through Sunday. Over 20 delegations and 1,200 enterprises from 19 countries and regions have participated in the four-day expo. 

According to expo organizers, the event is focused on high quality development, and it will host multiple activities including trade fairs, forums, and debuts of high-tech products. The organizers said the expo will display China's achievement in advanced innovations. More than 10 experts and entrepreneurs will deliver keynote speeches around the topics of integration, innovation, opening up, and sharing. 

The expo has invited 1,108 overseas delegations from over 100 countries regions, hosted 1,025 trade fairs, and attracted 36,504 exhibitors and more than 5.6 million visitors since its founding in 1998. Over 5,000 projects have been signed over the years at the expo with a total contract value of 1 trillion yuan (US$166 billion).
