Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei metro card will cover Beijing

An all-in-one card for public transportations in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province will cover the Beijing rail transit network by the end of December, according to the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport.

An all-in-one card for public transportations in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province will cover the Beijing rail transit network by the end of December, according to the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport.

More than 810,000 cards have been sold to passengers in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region by September.

Currently passengers with the metro card can take all buses in downtown Beijing, designated lines in Tianjin and all lines in Hebei's Shijiazhuang, Cangzhou, Baoding, Handan, Zhangjiakou, Chengde and Langfang cities. Metro cards sold in Tianjin and Hebei Province will enjoy the same fare discounts as ones sold in Beijing.
