Xu Lin appointed SCIO minister

Xu Lin was appointed minister of the State Council Information Office of China (SCIO), according to an official statement released on Tuesday.

Xu was formerly the minister of the Cyberspace Administration of China.

He is also a deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
