Guo Weimin, vice minister of the State Council Information Office, met with an Australian press delegation headed by Bob Carr, head of the Australia-China Relations Institute (ACRI) and former minister of Foreign Affairs, in Beijing on May 17.

The two sides exchanged opinions on strengthening China-Australia cooperation in terms of media and think tanks.
