Cui Yuying

Cui Yuying (崔玉英) is the deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the vice minister of the State Council Information Office of China.

Born in Changle County of Shandong Province in May 1958, Cui is of Tibetan ethnicity. She began work in August 1975 and joined the Communist Party of China in February 1980. She has a master’s degree from the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC.

She worked in Tibet from 1975 to 2011. From 2011 to 2014, she served as the deputy director of the Office for Overseas Publicity of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the vice minister of the State Council Information Office.

She has been the vice minister of the State Council Information Office of China and the deputy head of the Publicity Department of the CPC since January 2015.
