Huang Kunming speaks on Xi Jinping Thought at Tsinghua University

Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, spoke on the study and implementation of the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress at Tsinghua University on Nov. 10.

Huang said that the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics is led by the Party Central Committee with Xi Jinping at the core, and created through continued innovation in theories, practice and institutions. All Party members should grasp the guiding ideology of the Party and keep up with the times, align themselves with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and use it to guide practice and advance work, he said.

Huang also stressed that the 19th CPC National Congress was a major milestone in the Party's history, with the most important achievements of taking the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as a long-term guide and electing the new central leadership with Xi Jinping at the core. The national congress elaborated on the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as well as the basic policy of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and it also formulated a timetable and roadmap for the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects, showing the way for realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

During the exchange with the faculty and students at Tsinghua University, Huang encouraged them to put theories into practice, carry forward the traditions and live up to their duties and responsibilities by making contributions to the Party, the country and the people.
