Wang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 19th CPC Central Committee, made the remarks at a meeting to rally morale for publicizing the spirit of the congress, which concluded in Beijing last week.

Wang, also member of the CPC Central Committee Secretariat, said the publicity team should explain clearly the theme of the congress, the content of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and the historic changes that have taken place since the 18th CPC National Congress five years ago.

It should also explain clearly the significance of socialism with Chinese characteristics entering a new era, the impact of the evolution of the central contradiction facing Chinese society, the two centennial goals, and strict governance of the Party, according to Wang.

He also said those who take part in the publicity work should go to businesses, villages, government bodies, campuses and communities to talk to the public face-to-face.
