China provides over 15 billion yuan in overseas humanitarian aid from 2018-2022

​From 2018 to 2022, China carried out more than 800 emergency humanitarian aid projects worth over 15 billion yuan (US$2.05 billion) in countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the South Pacific, and Europe, according to the China International Development Cooperation Agency.

BRI assistance projects helping in poverty fight

China has arranged over 2,000 assistance projects in more than 120 Belt and Road Initiative participating countries over the past decade, said a senior Chinese official on Tuesday, who vowed to continue developing BRI cooperation.
