Since the launch of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), China has implemented over 2,000 aid projects in over 120 BRI partner countries, mobilizing nearly US$1 trillion in investment and helping nearly 40 million people escape poverty, said Luo Zhaohui, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, at a press conference Tuesday.
