    Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2012, the Chinese central government has invested 68.6 billion yuan (US$10.2 billion) in supporting nationwide efforts to control soil erosion, the Ministry of Water Resources said at a press conference Thursday in Beijing.
