China has accelerated the construction of water conservancy projects in the wake of severe floods in 2023. A total of 1,488 projects funded by government bonds have been launched, with the investment reaching 29.31 billion yuan (US$4.05 billion), said Chen Min, vice minister of water resources, on Friday.
