Beijing has vowed to foster a market-oriented, law-based, and world-class business environment. The announcement was made in a press conference held by China's State Council Information Office on Monday. One of the goals is to build a national unified market to ensure fair competition and reduce operating costs for enterprises.
A series of measures were launched last year to improve the rule of law and protect the interests of enterprises. The government promised to align with international systems and standards to attract foreign investment and promote high-level opening up. It also vowed to improve administrative efficiency to better serve enterprises.
