The State Council Information Office of China (SCIO) will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. on Aug. 30, 2018. Xian Hui, governor of Ningxia Hui autonomous region, Zhang Chaochao, executive vice governor of Ningxia Hui autonomous region, Zhao Yongqing, a member of the Standing Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee, and Bai Shangcheng, a member of the Standing Committee and head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee, will brief the media on the social and economic development of Ningxia over the past 60 years, as well as preparations for the 60th anniversary of its founding.
