Xu Lin, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and minister of the State Council Information Office, praised young journalists and media outlets at an event on April 29 for their work during the 2021 Spring Festival holiday.

Xu congratulated the journalists and media outlets for their awards on behalf of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee. In all, 108 works and six media outlets received awards. 

He said he hopes the young journalists would present the tenacity and vitality of the century-old CPC, and the lives and efforts of the Chinese people, while dedicating themselves to the journalism cause.
