China International Communications Groups (CICG) will attend the Foire de Paris 2024 running from May 1 to 12 in Paris, France, and host a Chinese cultural exhibition as well as other exchange activities.

In April 2023, CICG attended the Foire de Paris 2023 and organized exhibitions and dialogues during the event, and about 100,000 people from over 20 countries visited the booth. The organizing committee of the Foire de Paris presented an award to CICG for its special contribution.

During the Foire de Paris this year, CICG plans to host an array of activities including a China-France cultural dialogue, a Chinese cultural exhibition, and a launching ceremony for the China-Europe Cultural Trade Partnership Mechanism. 

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and France, as well as the 120th anniversary of the Foire de Paris. The Paris Summer Olympics will also be held in 2024. The Foire de Paris 2024 is estimated to attract 1 million visitors.

Initiated in 1904, the Foire de Paris is one of the world's largest and earliest trade shows.
