The event aims to collect designs featuring both traditional Chinese culture and styles of modern times, demonstrating Chinese elements and cultural confidence.
A total of 1,423 domestic and international entries were received for the competition, which was launched in July. The awards presented at the ceremony included gold, silver, bronze, and awards of best craftsmanship and excellence.
In recent years, the competition has integrated creativity and technology into the upgrading of industries, helped young designers to ascend the international arena, and made handcrafted products from Shandong province and Chinese fashion recognized worldwide.
In addition, the event has also provided a platform for exhibition, communication, and design, encouraging more talented designers to dive into the fashion industry. Today, the competition has become an important stage for young Chinese designers to present Chinese elements, Chinese symbols, and Chinese culture to the world.
The Third International Fashion Week was also staged at the final, where exciting lineups of fashion designs with Chinese characteristics were released at the event and online. Since 2020, the fashion week has become one of the most influential and largest fashion events in the country.
