Speaking at the launching ceremony, Honorary Chairman of Beijing MW Foundation Chen Shi said the event is an international support project for children to support countries in need of education development through the donation of books, stationery and school equipment.

Following the real situation in Laos, books, stationery, school equipment and solar-powered flashlights will be donated for children at five primary schools in Vientiane and Oudomxay province.

It is expected that more and more enterprises, organizations and individuals will join the foundation to contribute further to the charity mission, said Chen.

Earlier in October 2016, such kind of charity event was held in Cambodia where primary school children were supported with school bags, books, stationery and solar-powered flashlights.
