In western China, there is a world-class logistics passage known as the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. The corridor, with an operational hub based in Chongqing, reaches global ports via railways, highways and sea routes, traveling through southern Chinese provincial regions such as Guangxi and Yunnan.
Since an overall plan on the corridor was released six years ago, the logistic route has expanded its reach to over 580 ports in 127 countries and regions.
This dynamic international economic corridor, connecting China's inland regions to the world, is unleashing new momentum for opening up and development in western China and creating new opportunities for win-win cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
