A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official underscored efforts to communicate guiding principles from the fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee to the public.

Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks during his investigation and research trips in Liaoning province and Inner Mongolia autonomous region from Monday to Thursday.

During his four-day tour, Huang visited enterprises, rural areas, local communities and schools as well as publicity and cultural institutions to learn about the publicity of the essence of the key CPC meeting.

Huang stressed making clear the essential features and notable strengths of the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics while building public awareness of the guiding principles from the key session.

He also visited local residents living in poverty and learned about progress in poverty alleviation, saying the great achievements in poverty relief are a vivid crystallization of the strengths of the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
