China's L2 driver-assist penetration climbs to 69% in early 2026

The penetration rate of Level-2 (L2) driver assistance systems reached 69% of new passenger car sales in China in the first two months this year, up 10 percentage points year on year, a spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said at a press conference on Tuesday.
