The State Council Information Office of China (SCIO) will invite officials from east China's Jiangsu province to brief the media about the province's efforts to basically realize modernization at 10 a.m. on Aug. 23, 2019. They include:

Lou Qinjian, secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress;

Wu Zhenglong, deputy secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and governor of Jiangsu province.

An exhibition on Jiangsu province will be held in the press conference hall.

Journalists wishing to attend are kindly requested to bring with them press cards issued by the SCIO.
