The State Council Information Office of China (SCIO) will invite the heads of China General Nuclear Group and its Taishan nuclear project partner — Électricité de France Group — to meet journalists and answer questions on the progress of China's major nuclear projects and the Sino-French cooperation in the nuclear field since the reform and opening up, as well as the commercial operation of Taishan Unit 1 in Guangdong province — the first EPR nuclear reactor in the world — at 2 p.m. on Dec.14, 2018.
