Ethnic Equality

Ethnic equality is a core principle followed by the CPC and the Chinese government when handling ethnic relations. Irrespective of their size, history or levels of development, all ethnic groups in China are equal in every aspect of life. No discrimination or oppression against any group can be tolerated. They have the right to equal participation in national and local affairs, regardless of whether their populations are concentrated or dispersed.

民族平等

坚持民族平等是中国共产党和政府在民族问题上的原则立场和根本政策。在中华人民共和国境内，各民族，不论人口多少、历史长短、发展程度高低，在社会生活的各个方面一律平等，不允许对任何民族进行歧视和压迫；不论是聚居还是散杂居的各民族，均以平等的地位参与国家事务和地方事务。
