2 freight trains under China-Singapore Multi-modal Demonstration Project depart from Chongqing

Two freight trains under China-Singapore Multi-modal Demonstration Project departed here on Monday, heading to Singapore via Chongqing-Southeast Asia Railway Express and Kazakhstan through Chongqing-Central Asia International Railway Express, respectively.

The logistics routes connect China-Europe Railway Express and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, creating a trade channel among western China, ASEAN and the Eurasian continent. (Xinhua/Tang Yi)
