CIPG and the Cuban National Library established the Book Center during Havana's 27th International Book Fair, which features China as this year's guest country. It is the second Chinese Book Center established by CIPG in Latin America and the sixth across the globe following those in Poland, Thailand, Nepal, Switzerland and Peru.
CIPG donated over 300 kinds of books in different languages to the center at the ceremony, including the first and second volumes of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" and "Up and Out of Poverty," and the Cuban National Library will set up a special area to present the books to Cuban readers.
