Why do the 9 new photos appear on Xi's bookshelves

​President Xi Jinping delivered his New Year address in his office on Sunday through a video. If you watch carefully, you will find that some photos seen on Xi's bookshelves appear for the first time this year. Here's a look at the new and old photos in his office.

Highlight: Photo 14 appeared in the video of Xi delivering 2015 New Year address. The scene happened at the same place and time of Photo 2. This year shows the two photos of the same visit. In the new address, Xi mentioned poverty relief twice. Among the 15 photos, four are related to poverty relief.
