Since April, the State Council Information Office (SCIO) has organized a series of themed media trips across China to highlight local efforts to implement the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030). The fifth trip, held from Sept. 27 to 30, brought journalists to northeastern China's Heilongjiang province to report on local grain production. The participating journalists were from media outlets in the U.S., Singapore, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Cuba, and other countries.
