From June 10 to 13, the State Council Information Office (SCIO) organized a group of nearly 40 journalists to cover green development in Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The group included reporters from media outlets in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.

A press briefing was held on June 11. Huang Zhiqiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee and executive vice chairman of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, briefed the media members and answered questions.
