The State Council Information Office (SCIO) organized a media trip to Anhui province from May 18 to 20. Journalists from the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and other countries were invited to visit the province and learn about its efforts to build a modern industrial system.

Following a tour to Shanghai and Guangdong in April, this marked the SCIO's second media trip this year aimed at showcasing how local regions are implementing the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030).
