The State Council Information Office (SCIO) organized a media trip to southern China's Guangdong province from Wednesday to Friday, bringing together over 60 journalists to observe the province's work in expanding high-standard opening up.

The participants included correspondents from the U.S., Russia, the U.K., France, Germany, Sweden, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia.

A press briefing was held Wednesday in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province. Zhang Hu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Guangdong Provincial Committee and executive vice governor of Guangdong province, briefed the media members and answered questions.
