The State Council Information Office (SCIO) organized a media trip to northwestern China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region from Monday to Wednesday, bringing together over 30 journalists — including foreign correspondents from the U.K., France, Portugal, Russia, and Iraq — to observe the progress of ecological conservation and high-quality development in the Yellow River basin.

A press briefing was held Tuesday during the trip. Chen Chunping, a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee and executive vice governor of Ningxia Hui autonomous region, briefed the media and answered questions.
