The State Council Information Office (SCIO) held a Beijing Central Axis cultural salon for foreign media journalists on Wednesday. The journalists were invited to visit the Beijing Bell and Drum Towers, which are located at the northern end of the Beijing Central Axis, and attend a lecture given by Lyu Zhou, director of the National Heritage Center of Tsinghua University and the group leader for text compiling on the Beijing Central Axis World Heritage application team.
