Shanghai to host 48th WorldSkills Competition in September

Shanghai will host the 48th WorldSkills Competition from Sept. 22 to 27, gathering competitors worldwide for the biennial event to showcase their vocational skills. The competition covers six categories, including manufacturing, transportation, construction, information technology, creative arts, and services. China has over 220 million skilled workers, including 72 million highly skilled professionals, an official said Friday.
