China's long-term care insurance system covers 308 million people in past decade

Over the past decade, China's long-term care insurance pilot programs have covered 308 million people and financed care services for over 3.3 million care-dependent persons, with the number of pilot areas expanding from 15 to 92, the National Healthcare Security Administration said at a press conference Thursday.
