    China has made significant progress in the "east data, west computing" project, a megaproject that aims to coordinate the computing capabilities of the country's eastern regions with inland western regions. Over 1.46 million standard server racks have been installed across 10 national data center clusters by the end of March, according to the National Data Administration.
