China's visa-free policy boosts inbound trips

​China's unilateral visa-free policy has been welcomed since it took effect in December 2023, with 147,000 visa-free visits from six applicable countries recorded as of Jan. 9 this year, an official from the National Immigration Administration said at a press conference Thursday.
