40 cities to add 6.5M units of gov't-subsidized rental housing

Forty major Chinese cities plan to add 6.5 million units of government-subsidized rental housing between 2021 and 2025, aiming to mitigate housing difficulties for 13 million people including new urban residents and youths, according to a press conference Tuesday.
