China will provide the public with faster, more affordable access to medical innovations between 2026 and 2030, the National Healthcare Security Administration said at a press conference Friday. Measures will include adding more new medicines to the national reimbursement drug list, standardizing medical service insurance coverage nationwide to ensure greater equity, and accelerating the clinical adoption of medical innovations.
