China fortifies grain security with record output, contributes to world food security

China has fortified its grain security with a historic harvest of 700 billion kilograms in 2024, and significantly contributed to global food security as it managed to feed nearly one-fifth of the world's population with only 9% of the world's arable land, according to a Tuesday press conference.
