China has achieved historic accomplishments in education over the past decade, giving people a stronger sense of fulfillment, Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng said at a press conference Thursday. The gross enrollment rate in higher education now stands at 60.2%, reaching the globally recognized level of universal access.
