The State Council Information Office (SCIO) invited journalists from Chinese and foreign media outlets to visit Sichuan province from June 11 to 13 to learn about its efforts on advancing ecological conservation and green development.
The journalists visited the Bifengxia Panda Base of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Ya'an, the Daxiangling Giant Panda Wild Training and Releasing Base, and tea gardens, where they engaged in discussions with panda caretakers, experts, and officials to learn about panda conservation, as well as local tea culture and industry.
A total of 41 journalists joined the media trip, including 30 journalists from 19 foreign media outlets.
