China SCIO | June 29, 2023
The State Council Information Office (SCIO) invited journalists from Chinese and foreign media outlets to visit Tibet autonomous region from June 14 to 20 to learn about its development.
During their visit, the journalists attended the 5th China Xizang Tourism and Culture Expo, and visited the Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple, the Hospital of Tibetan Medicine, companies, schools, communities, and intangible cultural heritage workshops in Lhasa and Shannan.
Twenty journalists from 15 media outlets, including Reuters of the U.K., Kyodo News of Japan, EFE of Spain, ANSA of Italy, Lianhe Zaobao of Singapore, China Media Group, and China Daily, joined the media trip.
