A joint exhibition featuring works by Chinese and Mongolian sculptors opened on Tuesday in Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia, showcasing works by 14 Chinese and eight Mongolian sculptors.

Upon entering the exhibition hall, visitors are greeted by works from both countries, thoughtfully arranged to complement one another. The exhibits encompass a variety of forms, including bronze and figurative sculptures, and explore a wide range of themes and artistic styles.

Chinese sculptors draw inspiration from the richness of traditional Chinese culture, blending elements of the northern grasslands and the Silk Road with modern aesthetics. Their works combine intricate craftsmanship and refined textures with a sense of grandeur. Mongolian sculptors, meanwhile, delve deeply into the rich heritage of grassland culture, with their works featuring themes such as swift horses, vast grasslands, and nomadic life.

"This exhibition is not merely a joint display of artworks, but also a profound dialogue encompassing creative philosophies, artistic techniques, and cultural perspectives," said Li Zhi, counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia and director of the China Cultural Center in Ulan Bator.
