China will launch 18 major projects to advance its green and low-carbon transition, which include efforts to reduce emissions in key sectors, replace coal with clean energy, control pollution, and conduct ecological restoration, according to the recently unveiled outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030).
