Beijing's Central Business District (CBD) recently added two more multinational corporations (MNC) to its list of MNC regional headquarters, bringing the total number to 120, which accounts for nearly 50% of such headquarters in the city.

Ten new MNC regional headquarters have been identified in Beijing's CBD so far this year, marking a 150% year-on-year growth.

Beijing sees the development of headquarters as an important pathway for advancing industrial upgrading and economic opening-up.  

In 2023, Beijing's CBD officially launched the "Headquarters Growth Plan," aiming to attract more headquarters of MNCs as well as private enterprises. 

In the future, Beijing will continue to improve its support and service system to attract more high-quality enterprises to settle in its CBD.
